Since our creation in 2005, STA has grown into one of the country’s foremost leaders in youth development consistently playing home to both players and teams who have been successful at the State, Regional and National level. Our WPSL mission is to provide a meaningful and competitive development platform for players when they graduate out of the youth soccer program and into the Collegiate platform. First and foremost, we want to give players who have played and been developed at STA a place to train and play during their collegiate years subsequently sustaining their relationship with our program. In addition, we will bolster our roster with the support of other high quality domestic and international collegiate players that will aid us in further developing the Women’s game within New Jersey. To have this opportunity sit at the top of the pyramid of our youth program will help show all our young players they have something to strive for while enhancing our ability to grow the love of the game for young girls.
STA has developed multiple players who have been called up in the YNT pathway and graduated over 120+ players who have gone on to play at the collegiate level including power schools like Penn State, Indiana, and UNC as well as Yale, Mounmouth, VCU, FDU and many others.
The focus and goal of the STA WPSL team is to sharpen technical skills, master tactical concepts, push each players’ body and overall performance level. Players will also be incorporated into a professional and competitive training environment, learn the vigorous and demanding expectations of playing at the collegiate and professional level through hands-on experience.
The program is designed for talented, competitive players who are looking for ultimate success in soccer at the highest level. The program is meant to assist you in reaching an even higher level of soccer in your new or existing collegiate program or at the semi-pro or professional level. Below you will find all the detailed information regarding the next steps to be evaluated. We encourage you to join us!
Many initial roster spots will be selected through the upcoming tryout/training sessions which can be found above. Once you complete the tryout form you will receive an email with further details.
