The STA WPSL squad completed its most successful campaign this summer, finishing in second place in the Metropolitan Conference with a 5-2-1 record and 16 points.

This marks the third year since STA joined the WPSL, and with each season the team continues to improve and build upon its previous successes. The squad featured nine different goal scorers, and eight players tallying at least one assist.

“I am very happy with the way the season went for us, ending in 2nd place behind DUSC is a great achievement for this group,” said WPSL Head Coach Ylon Krauweel. “We have played some excellent games, and the girls seem to be progressing every season. We want to come back hungry next year and fight for that first place spot.”
