STA Morris United

About Us

STA is the preeminent soccer club in Northern New Jersey. Based in Morris County, we provide an opportunity for the most talented and committed players from throughout the state, to play at the highest level of which they are capable.

Our teams compete across local, regional and national levels meaning we are able to provide an appropriate home and competitive platform for players of every level of ability. Whether you are a Youth National Team player or prospect, harbor Division I collegiate aspirations or simply want to compete in town and play with your friends, STA has a program for you!

On the national stage, we are proud members of the Girls Academy League and Boys ECNL leagues. These are the levels within which our most talented players and teams compete with other top clubs from across the country. Attending multiple National Showcase events each year and competing to qualify for postseason play in front of Youth National Team staff and scouts, these leagues provide an incredible developmental experience for our young players and are the perfect platforms to support them in pursuit of their collegiate and/or professional dreams.

Below this, we are part of both the USYS/EDP National League platform and the Boys ECNL Regional League. These leagues give our 2nd teams the opportunity to compete against like minded, like able teams and clubs from across the Northeast. Blending club v club competition (boys) with team based schedules (girls), these leagues provide a great opportunity for some fantastic regionalized competition without the requirement of a more nationalized travel schedule.

For those players, families and teams more suited to a localized schedule, there are then multiple tiers within the EDP League that our Premier and MUSC Travel teams are a part of that provide a great opportunity to receive professional coaching and an ability based games schedule without the requirement of the travel referenced above.

With all STA teams working from the same coaching and teaching philosophy the opportunity to learn to play in the “STA way” is available for all!! Coached by New Jersey’s largest set of full-time professional staff, STA’s highly qualified coaches are committed to ensuring an unrivaled development experience awaits you.

To further extend our ability to maximize the experience and potential of our players, our teams also regularly compete in the State and National Cup competitions across both the USYS and US Club sanctioning bodies and attend the most prestigious tournaments (outside of their league sanctioned ones) available to them in the country (Disney, Dallas Cup, CASL, Jefferson Cup, Potomac, Bethesda). As a result, our oldest players showcase themselves in front of hundreds of prospective college coaches each year.

This commitment has led to STA being recognized as one of the nation’s foremost leaders in collegiate placement with over 200 players going on to play across the NCAA earning in excess of $2,000,000 in Athletic Scholarships in the process.

While the standards, commitment and approach to life necessary to be a success at STA is not for everyone, we would welcome those who believe they have the requisite Skills, Talent and Attitude to reach out and arrange an opportunity to be assessed by our professional staff. To do so please email info@stasoccer.org with a summary of your soccer history to date and an explanation of why you wish to explore STA.
