Peter Stroud earned his first start of his MLS career on Saturday night as the New York Red Bulls lost to Atlanta United FC, 1-0. An early first half goal by Giorgos Giakoumakis ended up being the difference in the match.

Stroud played the full 90 minutes in the midfield for the Red Bulls. New York will return home to face the San Jose Earthquakes on April 8.
