Tim Verschuren of Poortugaal, Holland joined STA in 2013 and has quickly gone on to establish himself as one of the brightest young coaches in the country. Holding a USSF A Youth License, Verschuren who also holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma became the Girls Director of Coaching in August 2016 before being elevated to the position of Girls Academy Director in February 2019..
With an Undergraduate Degree in Sports Management from the Hague University, Holland, the former NJIT Women’s Soccer Assistant and current girls talent scout for US Soccer, was responsible for leading a number of the STA girls teams to National events and to both Regional and State successes. Tim has been instrumental in the recent commitments of a number of the club’s female players to NCAA Division I programs, immediately demonstrating the value he brings to his role. We are very fortunate to have him. Tim is also the assistant women soccer coach at FDU Teaneck
