Proud Partner:

STA Announces Partnership with Gotham FC

Posted June 22, 2022

STA is delighted to announce a partnership with Gotham FC that will see the NWSL club become the top of the STA girl’s Player Development. Providing tangible opportunities for the club’s brightest talents to train alongside some of the best players in the world within Gotham’s NWSL first team environment, the partnership, we hope, will be transformational for the development of our young players.

“It’s long been an ambition of ours to change the status quo and raise the bar in terms of the experience and education afforded to our members,” Tom Shields, STA’s Technical Director stated. “Maximizing potential is what drives us every day, and in this partnership, we have found a senior leadership team and technical staff excited to pursue the same endeavors. We can’t wait for the opportunity to have our best and brightest exposed to the Gotham FC first team environment, alongside giving our youngest players the opportunity to learn from and meet their idols.”

STA hosted a Q&A with USWNT and Gotham FC Defender Kelley O’Hara. Kelley shared her journey and advice to our players, answered some questions from our aspiring STA ballers, and took time for photos and autographs. A night our girls will always remember!
