Our Girls Academy teams returned from Florida with an overall 10th place finish in their inaugural Champions Cup campaign.

Competing with the highest performing clubs in the Girls Academy across the country, STA were one of only nine clubs nationwide to see all six of their teams secure spots in the finals of the competition.

Playing 24 games across six days of competition, our girls competed valiantly in the Florida sunshine with the 2008 team securing 3rd place with their only defeat (and goal conceded) coming to the eventual champions Nationals Blue of MI.

We are very grateful to the support of all the scouts (collegiate, professional and United States Youth National Team) that were in attendance and to the Girls Academy for the effort that went into running such an event.
