Congratulations to RJ Dougherty on being recognized as the U17 Boys ECNL New England Player of the Year! RJ captained the U17 Boys ECNL squad to winning the league, playing a pivotal role in the success of the season. Alongside his POTY accolade, he has also been named as an ECNL Boys All-American.
Head Coach Brett Molloy said: “I don’t think I’ve ever coached a player more deserving of this kind of accolade than RJ. For three years, he has been not only my captain but the stalwart of the team and every bit of success they have achieved. He’s a player who, even on his worst days, still exemplifies defiance, leadership, character and courage and on his best days, quite frankly, not many come close to him.”
