Coaching Philosophy & Style:
Coaching Beliefs – I believe in working hard everyday; deeply developing your understanding of the game; expressing creativity on the field; creating lasting friendships and instilling a lifelong love for sport.

Approach on the Field – I believe that responsibility; accountability; structure; creativity; communication and teamwork are key to success.

Personal Touch:
Why I Coach (what drives them, passion for the game) – I coach because I believe in the holistic impact that sport has on people young and old. I am passionate about helping young players fulfil their potential and explore the physical and mental benefits of playing the beautiful game.

Connection to the Club – STA’s vision and play style appeal to me as a coach. We are constantly growing and innovating as a club.

Optional Personal Note – I am a proud Irish man from the south-western city of Limerick. I am a big Manchester City fan and my favorite ever player is Yaya Touré. I worked as an elementary school teacher for 9 years and a desire to put myself out of my comfort zone to develop personally and professionally is what brought me to the US. I also lived in Japan for a year and my favorite Japanese food is spicy ramen!
