A huge congratulations to the 2009B ECNL and Coach James Jacobs on securing the club’s fourth US Club Soccer National Championship!

After entering halftime scoreless, STA and Houstonians FC battled to a 1-1 draw to bring the game into overtime. STA went on to win the game 2-1 to secure a national title.

“When I took on the 09 boys three years ago, I knew they were going to be something special,” said Jacobs. “There have been many ups and downs, but today all their hard work paid off. This is only the start, and I’m certain there will be many more championships to come.”
